Opulent explores how a music player can feel as expressive as the music itself. Designed in Figma and built with Figma Make, the interface combines bold visuals, layered interactions, and a content-first layout across listening, discovery, lyrics, playlists, artist profiles, albums, music videos, and device controls.
Research
Interviewed avid music listeners and casual users frustrated with cluttered interfaces and algorithm-driven playlists. Found that people wanted a space to rediscover music through emotion, mood, and personalization rather than endless scrolling and data-driven curation.
