Spotify Redesign transforms passive listening into an emotional experience.
Through clean visual hierarchy, intuitive flows, and mood-based interactions, this redesign makes discovering and revisiting music feel personal, purposeful, and joyful.
This redesign finally bridges function and feeling. I find music faster, relate to it deeper, and love how the interface adapts to my mood without being overwhelming.

Problem
The current Spotify interface, while powerful, can feel bloated and impersonal. Users struggle with information overload, navigation friction, and lack of emotional connection—especially in moments of intentional listening, like focusing or unwinding.
Features like mood discovery, personal stats, or playlist storytelling are either buried or feel algorithmically cold, reducing the emotional weight of music as a tool for wellness or self-expression.

Solution
This redesign reintroduces clarity, warmth, and emotional resonance into the Spotify experience.
It restructures the navigation to highlight core user flows: mood-based listening, recent rituals, and personal sound identity. Playlists are now narrative-driven, displaying themes like “Reset,” “Burnout Recovery,” or “Confidence Boost.”
A simplified emotion selector wheel, integrated daily mood log, and contextual animations allow users to choose how they want to feel—and the music adapts accordingly. Accessibility settings, simplified color modes, and immersive album art views enhance inclusivity and focus.

In Action
This isn’t just a UI facelift—it’s a shift from streaming to feeling.
The redesign embraces emotionally intelligent UX, where users interact not just with playlists, but with how they want to feel. It’s Spotify for mindfulness, movement, and memory.
With mood syncing, fewer taps to core flows, and ambient transitions, the app supports music as a self-regulation tool. Whether it’s late-night reflection or mid-day motivation, this design respects the intimacy of listening.
